Kana Music Placement Terms of Service

Kana will work together with the client to:
  * copyright all necessary material.
  * register the client with the performing rights organization of their choice.
  * register the client as a publishing company with the respective performing rights organization.

Kana agrees to package and mail the previously agreed upon number of packages, which include your CD, to music supervisors and music directors internationally.

Kana cannot and will not guarantee any placement within film, television, or commercials.

Kana is not responsible for contacting the Copyright Office, Performing Rights Agencies, or Music Supervisors if there is any change in the client's status including but not limited to change of address or contact information.

Kana will never release contact information for Music Supervisors and Music Directors to a client.

The client's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  * Setting up a business to legally conduct business under your publishing company name.
  * Negotiating, or hiring a lawyer to negotiate, any and all contracts that are presented to the client for placement in media.

Client agrees to provide Kana with any and all information and products needed to successfully complete the Music Supervisor/Music Director mailing campaign.

Client agrees to pay a minimum of 50% of the total cost of the campaign at the start of the campaign. The client has 90 days to pay the remaining amount in full. If the remaining amount is not paid in full within the 90 day period the campaign will be terminated. All money and goods (including supplies that have been purchased, and clients CDs) are NON REFUNDABLE.
